Sie war eine wahre Schönheit und war 30 Jahre unser zweites Zuhause, ist mit uns von Hamburg aus durch den Ärmelkana, kreuz und quer durchs Mittelmeer, hat uns im Suezkanal und im Roten Meer begleitet, mit uns das Kap der guten Hoffnung umrundet und uns über Ascencion Island, die Kap Verden und Azoren zurück nach Hamburg gebracht.

Dort hat die Gute dann eine Zeitlang auf dem Trocknen gelegen, um dann wieder Richtung Mittelmeer zu starten.

Die immer noch Schöne ist inzwischen mit uns alt geworden und sehr pflegebedürftig.

Wir schaffen das nicht mehr (83 und 68 Jahre alt) und würden uns schweren Herzens trennen.

Quasi segelfertig, wenn da nicht das Teakdeck wäre, das wirklich Überholung braucht, was leider auch in Griechenland, wenn man es machen lässt nicht ganz billig wird.

Handwerklich geschickte Menschen können das selbst machen - dauert dann aber bestimmt eine Saison, die man nicht Segeln kann.

Zurzeit befindet sich das Boot auf Ägina, wo der Rumpf überholt wird. Die Insel ist leicht zu erreichen und bietet eine gute Ausgangslage für Inselhopping in Griechenland.

She was a true beauty and served as our second home for 30 years. She sailed with us from Hamburg through the English Channel, crisscrossed the Mediterranean, accompanied us through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea, rounded the Cape of Good Hope with us, and brought us back to Hamburg via Ascension Island, Cape Verde, and the Azores.

There, the good old girl lay dry-docked for a while before setting off again toward the Mediterranean.

The still-beautiful boat has grown old with us and is now in great need of care.

We can no longer manage it (83 and 68 years old) and would part with her with a heavy heart.

Virtually ready to sail, were it not for the teak deck, which really needs an overhaul—unfortunately, even in Greece, having this done isn’t exactly cheap.

People with good manual skills can do this themselves—but it will certainly take a season, during which you won’t be able to sail.

The boat is currently in Aegina, where the hull is being overhauled. The island is easy to reach and offers a good starting point for island hopping in Greece.
