Ben je op zoek naar een echte familieboot om te zeilen naar de Waddeneilanden, Zeeland, De Belgische kust, of dichterbij naar Hindeloopen of Hoorn? Wij bieden onze Dehler Optima 98GS aan om dit allemaal te gaan ontdekken.. Onze boot heeft een klassiek vintage uitstraling met veel hout interieur en is goed onderhouden. Je vaart er zo mee weg! Wel handig als je een beetje handig bent! Wij hebben al behoorlijk wat aan de boot geklust maar er kan nog altijd meer verfraaid worden: het dek voorop mag een nieuw laagje antislipverf hebben, en de opbouw zou weer in de originele kleur geschilderd kunnen worden. Ook mag de kuiptent wel een keertje een goeie wasbeurt krijgen. Maar dat zijn allemaal uiterlijkheden.

Technisch zeilt de boot als een zonnetje; loopt mooi vanaf windkracht 2, maar met 6 is hij ook in zijn element. De genua is nieuw van 2025. De motor en aandrijfas zijn in vroege lente van 2026 gereviseerd. De Antifouling is ook in het voorjaar van 2026 aangebracht. Zie ook de foto's.

De boot is bijna overal in Europa wel geweest - van de Zweedse kust totaan de Engelse riviera. Wij zijn 15 jaar eigenaar van deze heerlijke boot geweest en zijn er praktisch elk weekend mee op uit getrokken, en bleven meestal wat dichterbij. Onze boot heeft altijd zoetwaterhavens als thuishaven gehad, de laatste jaren in Makkum, waar hij nu ook te bezichtigen is.

Are you looking for a true family boat to sail to the Wadden Islands, Zeeland, the Belgian coast, or closer to home to Hindeloopen or Hoorn? We’re offering our Dehler Optima 98GS so you can explore all of these destinations. Our boat has a classic vintage look with lots of wood in the interior and is well-maintained. You can set sail right away! It helps if you’re a bit handy! We’ve already done quite a bit of work on the boat, but there’s still room for improvement: the foredeck could use a fresh coat of non-slip paint, and the superstructure could be repainted in its original color. The cockpit canopy could also use a good wash. But those are all just cosmetic issues.

Technically, the boat sails like a dream; it handles beautifully starting at wind force 2, but it’s really in its element at wind force 6. The genoa is new from 2025. The engine and drive shaft were overhauled in early spring 2026. The antifouling was also applied in the spring of 2026. See also the photos.

The boat has been almost everywhere in Europe—from the Swedish coast to the English Riviera. We’ve owned this wonderful boat for 15 years and have taken it out practically every weekend, though we usually stayed closer to home. Our boat has always been based in freshwater marinas, most recently in Makkum, where it’s currently on display.
