Dehler 36 CWS – Fast and Well-Maintained Cruising Yacht with CWS SystemThe Dehler 36 CWS “Vegados” is a sporty yet comfortable sailing yacht, designed by Van de Stadt and built by Dehler Yachtbau GmbH in 1992. This Dehler 36 CWS combines excellent sailing performance with the practical CWS system (Central Winch System), making the yacht easy to sail and manoeuvre with a small crew or single-handed.

With a length of 11.20 m, a beam of 3.50 m and a draft of 1.50 m, the Vegados offers an attractive combination of speed, directional stability and comfort. The owner describes her as a well-maintained, fast and responsive sailing yacht, which performs very well at sea and in stronger winds.

Sails and Deck EquipmentThe fractional rig features an aluminium mast and standing rigging replaced in 2024. The approximately 40 m² mainsail is equipped with reefing lines led back to the cockpit. There is also a 2024 self-tacking jib, including a spare jib and a storm jib. Sailing equipment includes two self-tailing Harken winches, one electric Harken winch and the large central CWS winch.

The deck is comprehensively equipped with an electric anchor windlass, guardrails, pulpit and pushpit, bathing platform, swim ladder, cockpit table and a new sprayhood from 2024.

Comfortable InteriorBelow deck, the Vegados offers two cabins and 4 fixed berths, expandable to 6. The classic wooden interior, blue upholstery and recently renewed upholstery create a pleasant and well-kept atmosphere. Further equipment includes a 250-litre freshwater tank, 80-litre holding tank, 50-litre boiler, cockpit shower, manual toilet, 3-burner gas cooker with oven, refrigerator and Ebenspächer warm-air heating.

Modern Navigation and Reliable EngineThe Yanmar 3GM30F 27 hp diesel engine has approximately 1,141 operating hours and features shaft drive with a Variprop propeller. Major engine maintenance was carried out in March 2026, including the installation of new engine mounts, a new flexible coupling and a new shaft seal.

The navigation equipment has been modernised with Raymarine i70S instruments, Raymarine EV100 autopilot, Axiom 9 chartplotter and Raymarine GPS. The VHF radio includes GPS and AIS and also has a remote control at the steering position. The electrical system includes a 230 Ah lithium service battery, Victron charger and 3000 W inverter.
