Ontwerper Frans Maas kreeg de opdracht een schip te tekenen voor langere reizen, met ruimte onderdeks voor een aangenaam verblijf ook bij slechter weer. De Compromis 999 is dan ook voor langere reizen en open water een heerlijk sterk en comfortabel jacht. Het schip laat zich moeiteloos en vlot manoeuvreren, ook door een kleinere bemanning of solo. Alle vallen en schoten zijn naar de kuip geleid. Het jacht is verrassend ruim en luxueus ingericht. Ook voor lange zeilers. In de kajuit is een riante rondgaande zitbank aangebracht en een ruime kaartentafel. De riante achterhut is ook een van de voordelen van een Center Cockpit model.

Het schip heeft nieuwe zeilen(2024), sprayhood/tent(2024), Raymarine Ray53 marifoon (2024), accu’s(2025), oven(2023), koelkast(2025) en twee zonnepanelen met Victron bluetooth omvormer(2025). Het onderwaterschip is dit jaar nog in de antifouling gezet. Erg betrouwbare motor. Inclusief Dinghy en bijbehorende buitenboordmotor.

Het betreft de meer sportieve versie met hogere mast van 14 meter en diepgang van 1,50m. Het grootzeil zit in een lazybag maindrop systeem.

Punten van aandacht:
Het teak in de kuip zit niet los maar is estetisch gezien wel toe aan vervanging. Ook het anti slip dek is nog volledig functioneel maar laat zijn jaren zien. Alles boven alles is de basis van het schip nog in een oerdegelijke staat en klaar voor een volgend avontuur

Designer Frans Maas was commissioned to design a boat for longer voyages, with below-deck space to ensure a pleasant stay even in inclement weather. The Compromis 999 is, therefore, a wonderfully sturdy and comfortable yacht for longer voyages and open water. The boat maneuvers effortlessly and smoothly, even with a smaller crew or solo. All halyards and sheets are routed to the cockpit. The yacht is surprisingly spacious and luxuriously appointed, making it ideal for long-distance sailors as well. The cabin features a spacious wraparound bench seat and a large chart table. The spacious aft cabin is another advantage of a Center Cockpit model.

The boat has new sails (2024), sprayhood/awning (2024), Raymarine Ray53 VHF radio (2024), batteries (2025), oven (2023), refrigerator (2025), and two solar panels with a Victron Bluetooth inverter (2025). The hull was treated with antifouling this year. Very reliable engine. Includes dinghy and accompanying outboard motor.

This is the sportier version with a taller 14-meter mast and a draft of 1.50 meters. The mainsail is equipped with a lazy bag maindrop system.

Points of attention:
The teak in the cockpit is not loose but, from an aesthetic standpoint, is due for replacement. The anti-slip deck is also still fully functional but is showing its age. All in all, the hull is still in rock-solid condition and ready for its next adventure.
