Until 2012, the Comfortina brand stood for exceptionally good Scandinavian series boatbuilding. And that in a market which is regarded as exemplary in itself. Then the shipyard changed hands and … the exceptional quality remained, only the "Scandinavian" part disappeared.

Together with small manufactories

Today Comfortina still produces as an independent company, though based in Schleswig, Germany. What makes this change of ownership special: through the collaboration with smaller manufactories, the legendary Comfortina quality is not only maintained, but also innovatively improved in individual areas.

Fast and safe – with Scandinavian DNA

Thanks to its great adaptability to customers' wishes, Comfortina has earned the reputation of a production yacht yard that already builds at semi-custom level. The fiberglass and woodwork as well as all installations are executed to the highest standard. All installed units and the equipment are state of the art.
This makes the fast and, above all, safe-sailing Comfortina yachts long-lasting cruising boats and performance cruisers that still achieve top prices on the used boat market even decades later.

800 times the Comfortina 32 – the success story

The Comfortina 32, built for 30 years (from 1968 to 98), is legendary. Eight hundred boats of the 32-foot Comfortina left the yard, which was still Scandinavian at the time. Almost all boats of this series are still sailing today. The mix of a form-stable hull with a (for the time) rather generous beam (3.30 m) and a 2-ton keel resulted in an almost "over-rigged" sail-carrying capacity. Which logically translated into plenty of speed, but also into safety. All typical characteristics of a Comfortina, which the German yard still lovingly cultivates today.
As of 2022, Comfortina builds five cruising models from 35 to 46 feet in length.
