Catri 22 Trimaran – Lightweight High-Performance Multihull (VAT Paid)

This Catri 22 trimaran is a fast foiling and lightweight performance multihull, equipped with a Farrier-style folding system, making it ideal for both trailering and sailing. VAT has been paid.

In ultra-light configuration, the boat weighs approximately 600 kg, contributing to its excellent speed and responsiveness. It comes with the original trailer, which has been professionally maintained. The trimaran has been modified to allow easy single-handed setup, enabling one person to go from trailer to ready-to-sail within just a few hours.

A comprehensive refit in 2021 included:

• New trampolines and standing rigging (stays)
  
• Creation of watertight compartments for added safety
  
• Reinforcement of the crossbeams
  
• All structural work professionally carried out by Rhebergen (Amsterdam).
  

The interior is simple and functional (“spartan”), offering sleeping space for two persons, with a strong focus on keeping weight to a minimum.

For improved high-speed performance, the boat is fitted with a mast and sails from a Dragonfly 800, replacing the original sail plan which was less suited for higher speeds.

This trimaran delivers exceptional performance, with recorded top speeds of well over 28 knots, sailing on the rudder and side foils.

The boat has been used almost exclusively on freshwater, with only a single trip to the Wadden Sea. It has always been stored indoors during winter, contributing to its overall good condition.

The hulls are in good condition, featuring a solid vinylester bottom (no foam core). The antifouling system consists of Coppercoat, applied one year ago.

Reason for sale: the boat is to sporty for a family of four.
