2009 Balta 40, EUR 119,000

The Balta is a beautiful touring/racing sailing yacht, which is built very stiffly. She was built for long journeys, which she has also made. There is a vertical lifting keel (draft between 1 and 2.5 meters), there are ballast tanks of 800 liters and double rudders. The keel has a weight of 3000 kilos, which makes the center of gravity very favorable and low. Together with the flexible ballast tanks and the double rudders, the ship has very pleasant sailing characteristics: little heel and easy to steer.

Solo races have been sailed with the Balta and long-distance trips to, among others, the Azores, the Shetland Islands and Spain. The fixed spray hood offers good shelter. The light and modern interior is also pleasant during night trips. A boat for the sporty sailing enthusiast.
