Construction and seakeeping

Measuring 14.31 m by 7.66 m with a shallow 1.27 m draft, the BALI 4.6 reaches the most sheltered anchorages while offering a perfectly stable platform. The polyester hull and GRP - fibreglass deck, for a 14,000 kg displacement, deliver strength and sea manners. The rig features a fully battened in-mast mainsail, a new genoa and a boom fitted with lazy jacks and lazy bag: a set-up designed for short-handed sailing.

Engines and layout

Twin YANMAR 4JH57 57 HP units, both from 2022, provide diesel propulsion with 226 h and 235 h recorded. She cruises at 7 knots for around 5 l/h and tops out at 14 knots. Tankage matches the offshore programme: 800 litres of fuel and 860 litres of water. Below, 5 cabins and 10 berths accommodate up to 12 people, with a full galley, an outdoor galley and a teak cockpit extended by the bathing platform.
