This boat (MOIN) has been purchased by me two years ago from a German owner - VAT tax has already been paid! Since than I registered her in Poland sailed to USA and implemented a number of updates in preparations to trips to Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and eventualy Baltic. These have been done within the last two years:
The cutlass bearing (propeller shaft) and Volvo rubber boot (inside the hull) were both replaced as well as the three rudder bushing. Moin received new main and genoa. There is also a strom jib (orange) and a para spinaker (I belive it has never been used).
The boat comes with three (3) USA/CANADA propane gas bottles (11lbs each) and regulator as well as four (4) German gas bottles and regulator.
There is a SeaStar water maker onboard (I have never had a reason to use it) with number of spare filters.
Navigation equipment consists of Navionic and ONWA chartplotes with AIS,
Wind speed and direction, depth and speed gauges by VDO.
Brand new Raymarine Evolution autopilot with P70S controller and four (4) EV-100 tiller drivers.
SITEX 760 radar is brand new installed less than 2 months ago.
Standard Horizon GX6000 VHF with NMEA2000 and AIS Receiver is installed in the main cabin and it is complemented with the RAM4 unit providing a full functionality in the cocpit.
WIFI bridge attached to GX6000 propagates AIS information to tablet/phone installed Navionics chartplotter.
My long distance communication was achived with the ICOM M803 SSB transciver (150Watts) + ICOM 140AT auto tunner, Winlink/VARA.
Additional Fuel is possible with 8 plastic carnisters, each 5Gal (19 liters). There is a SEPAR dual fuel filter with water trap and a large number of filters, gaskets, etc. The same applies to engine spare parts like for example a brand new starter, ignition switches, control lines and so forth.
If you are in Europe and always dreamed about crossing Atlantic to cruise East Coast USA, Canada, Grenland or Cuba, Martinique and so forth this boat will take you there. VAT tax has already been paid, keep it in mind.
