Wir verkaufen unseren treuen Aluminium-Katamaran, Baujahr 1989/90, der uns viele schöne Jahre auf dem Wasser beschert hat.
Das Schiff wurde regelmäßig genutzt und gepflegt – 13 Jahre zuverlässig, sicher und stabil im Einsatz.
Ideal als fahrbereites Langfahrtschiff, für Einsteiger oder Paare mit Abenteuerlust.
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein wirklich sicheres und seetüchtiges Schiff. Bei Bau und Konstruktion standen die Benutzung auf der Nordsee und längere Strecken im Vordergrund. Die Konstruktion ist so ausgelegt, das die hinteren Skegs, die Propeller und Ruderblätter schützen, auch der tiefste Punkt des Schiffes sind. Läuft man in flachem Wasser auf, dreht sich das Schiff nicht und schert nicht aus. Die vorderen Poller sind ein durchgehendes dickwandiges Rohr, das mit den Rümpfen bis runter zur Kielsohle verschweißt ist. Man könnte das ganze Schiff an einen Poller aufhängen. Die Bodenplatten sind 8mm stark. Der Bodenbereich ist zusätzlich durch je eine 5 Meter lange und 20 cm breite Kunststoffbohle geschützt. Das hat sich beim Trockenfallen bestens bewährt. Die Aufkimmungen sind aus 6mm starkem Material. Alle Stöße sind gerundet, das ist vor allem im vorderen Bereich, wo Rümpfe auf Deck treffen im Seegang von Vorteil.
Die Bordwände sind 4 mm stark, die Decksplatten 3 mm. Die Rümpfe haben alle 50cm Spanten, alle 30 cm Stringer. Das Unterwasserschiff ist grundiert und dann 3 X mit Teerepoxi gestrichen. So hat das gesamte Unterwasserschiff eine Gummihaut.
Die Schwerter bestehen aus Sperrholz, mit Kunstharz überzogen. Sollte es mal zu einem Crash kommen, würden die Schwerter brechen, aber die Bordwände bleiben unversehrt.
Das gesamte Konzept ist auf Sicherheit ausgelegt. Wie bereits gesagt, es ist ein sicheres Fahrtenschiff. Wir haben lange Touren immer mit 6 Meilen die Stunde kalkuliert und da war dann immer reichlich Luft.
Wer also ein Schiff sucht, das 20 Knoten schnell läuft, der ist hier völlig falsch. Die schnellste Logge hatte ich über mehrere Stunden bei 12 Knoten, unter traumhaften Bedingungen. 6 von Raumschots und wenig Welle.
Aber generell liegt die Rumpfgeschwindigkeit bei rund 8 Knoten. Und darüber geht es auch meistens nicht.
