Dieses Powerboat hat ein komplettes Total-Refit erhalten, welches sich über 3 Jahre hingezogen hat.

Von dieser Scarab Viper 31 Flatdeck wurden weniger als 50 Boote von Larry Smith, einem Konstrukteur für Offshoreboote, entworfen und gebaut.

Diese hier angebotene Scarab Viper 31 Flatdeck wurde 1990 gebaut und war seither stets in Familienbesitz am Lake Michigan (USA) lediglich in Süßwasser.

Ich selbst habe sie 2021 direkt in USA gekauft und nach Deutschland verschifft.
In 3-jähriger Total-Restauration komplett neu aufgebaut war 2024 die Fertigstellung.
Es wurde alles überarbeitet, bzw. erneuert: vom Bug bis zum Propeller... Alles weitestgehend neu!
Das komplette Refit wurde umfangreich dokumentiert und ist durch hunderte von Bildern sehr gut nachvollziehbar.
Um das Boot auf deutschen Straßen trailerbar zu machen, wurden beim Neuaufbau überflüssige Gewichte durch leichtere Baumaterialien ersetzt.

Da der Text auf dieser Plattform leider begrenzt ist, kann ich hier leider nicht all meine Arbeiten und Verbesserungen aufzählen.

Fewer than 50 of these Scarab Viper 31 Flatdeck boats were designed and built by Larry Smith, a designer of offshore boats.

The Scarab Viper 31 Flatdeck offered here was built in 1990 and has been in family ownership ever since on Lake Michigan (USA), where it has been used exclusively in freshwater.

I purchased it myself in 2021 directly in the U.S. and had it shipped to Germany.
Completely rebuilt during a 3-year total restoration, it was completed in 2024.
Everything was overhauled or replaced: from the bow to the propeller... Everything is essentially new!
The entire refit was extensively documented and is very easy to follow thanks to hundreds of photos.
To make the boat trailerable on German roads, unnecessary weight was replaced with lighter construction materials during the rebuild.

Since the text on this platform is unfortunately limited, I can’t list all my work and improvements here.
So here’s a brief excerpt:

• Everything down to the hull was dismantled and rebuilt
  
• Both engines underwent a complete overhaul (including bearings and seals)
  
• New fuel injection system for the engines
