2006 Tansu Custom Steel Trawler, EUR 1,650,000
23m Tansu Steel Trawler (2006/2022) | 4,000 NM Range | Fin Stabilized
The Narrative
Built by Tansu Shipyard in 2006 and designed by Riza Tansu, RISK TAKER is a 23-meter steel displacement trawler engineered for long-range cruising and autonomy. The vessel underwent a significant refit in 2022, ensuring her infrastructure and cosmetic condition meet modern standards. This is a purpose-built explorer yacht that prioritizes seaworthiness, fuel economy, and functional deck spaces.
The vessel’s exterior layout is defined by its utility and capacity for tender storage. The 2022 refit introduced an extended swim platform, which connects seamlessly to the main aft deck via a full-beam stairway. The aft deck itself is substantial, fitted with a 900 kg crane capable of launching and retrieving a large tender and additional water toys. This configuration allows for clear decks while underway and an open social area once the tender is deployed. The upper sundeck offers additional exterior space for navigation and observation.
Inside, the accommodation layout provides berthing for six guests across three cabins. A notable feature of this design is the crew accommodation, which is situated on the main deck rather than the lower deck. This configuration provides excellent crew visibility and access, or alternatively, offers flexibility for an owner-operator setup requiring convenient access to the helm and deck. The interior joinery and soft goods have been meticulously maintained, showing minimal wear consistent with the vessel's age.
Mechanically, RISK TAKER is designed for efficiency. Powered by twin 255 hp Cummins engines, she consumes approximately 24 liters per hour at a cruising speed of 9 knots (1,600 RPM). Combined with a fuel capacity of 15,100 liters, the vessel achieves a trans-oceanic range of 4,000 nautical miles. Ride comfort is managed by NAIAD fin stabilizers, providing essential roll reduction during extended passages or in adverse sea conditions.
