1992 Sunseeker Portofino 32, EUR 49,000

Eind 1992 werd deze specifieke Sunseeker Portofino 32 gebouwd als promotiemodel, bedoeld om te worden tentoongesteld op toonaangevende Europese botenshows. In plaats van de standaard benzinemotoren werd dit schip uitgerust met de meest geavanceerde dieselmotoren die op dat moment beschikbaar waren: twee Volvo Penta 6-cilinder motoren, voorzien van compressoren voor kracht en souplesse in het lage toerenbereik en tevens turbo’s voor optimale prestaties en efficiëntie bij hogere toerentallen.

Ook werd dit schip destijds zeer compleet uitgevoerd met onder andere een elektrische kookplaat, een Eberspächer diesel-heteluchtverwarming en een Fischer Panda generator, welke momenteel slechts 191 draaiuren heeft.

Wat toen gold als een absolute top-of-the-line sportscruiser, blijkt vandaag de dag een tijdloos en bijzonder hoogwaardig gebouwd schip dat nog steeds tot de verbeelding spreekt. Eenmaal aan boord waant u zich in een tijdcapsule: niet alleen de gelcoat verkeert in zeer goede staat, ook de bekleding is nog zacht en helder wit.

Er is gemiddeld slechts circa 40 uur per jaar met het schip gevaren en dat is overal zichtbaar, zelfs het originele ‘Sunseeker’ serviesgoed heeft de tand des tijds doorstaan.

Op onderhoud is door zowel de huidige als de vorige eigenaar nooit bezuinigd. Dit schip is dan ook met recht instapklaar en per direct beschikbaar.

This particular Sunseeker Portofino 32 was built in late 1992 as a promotional model, intended to be displayed at leading European boat shows. Instead of the standard gasoline engines, this vessel was equipped with the most advanced diesel engines available at the time: two Volvo Penta 6-cylinder engines, fitted with superchargers for power and smoothness at low RPM and turbos for optimal performance and efficiency at higher RPM.

At the time, this vessel was also fully equipped, including an electric cooktop, an Eberspächer diesel hot-air heater, and a Fischer Panda generator, which currently has only 191 operating hours.

What was then considered an absolute top-of-the-line sports cruiser is today a timeless and exceptionally well-built vessel that still captures the imagination. Once on board, you feel as though you’ve stepped into a time capsule: not only is the gelcoat in excellent condition, but the upholstery is still soft and bright white.

The boat has been sailed for an average of only about 40 hours per year, and this is evident everywhere; even the original “Sunseeker” tableware has stood the test of time.

Neither the current nor the previous owner ever skimped on maintenance. This boat is therefore truly ready to sail and available immediately.
