Er zijn gewone boten en bijzondere boten. De Hermes Speedster valt met haar slanke lijnen, strak lederen interieur met Porsche accenten duidelijk in de laatste categorie. Het is een jet-aangedreven cultboot, de ultieme speelboot, een vintage cabrio in vaarverpakking. Met prima vaargedrag.

Op vlak water is met gemak 70 km haalbaar. Als je gewend bent aan het stuurgedrag, merk je dat de boot om de as kan draaien en simpel af te meren is. Ergonomisch klopt het allemaal, de zit is goed, de voetensteun bevalt en de voorruit met rvs lijst beschermt prima tegen kou en regen. Kleur vam de boot is donkerbruin met een lichtbruin lederen interieur en lichtbruin kap.

Het voordeel van jet-aandrijving is, dat er geen draaiende delen onder de boot zijn en je een geringe (26 cm) diepgang hebt. Het onderwaterschip is uitstekend en dat merk je doordat de boot snel planeert en accelererend niet steigert. Je hebt een klein, met leer bekleed sportstuur en voelt direct de power van een sportauto. Als de kap dicht is, hoor je een diepe brom, net als in oude sportwagens.

Deze Speedster heeft wat TLC nodig, maar is een echte eyecatcher, die je niet mag missen!

Ergonomically, everything is just right: the seating is comfortable, the footrest is convenient, and the windshield with its stainless steel frame provides excellent protection against the cold and rain. The boat’s color is dark brown with a light brown leather interior and a light brown canopy.

The advantage of jet propulsion is that there are no rotating parts under the boat and it has a shallow (26 cm) draft. The hull design is excellent, which is evident in how quickly the boat planes and how it doesn’t buck when accelerating. You’re behind a small, leather-wrapped sports steering wheel and immediately feel the power of a sports car. When the canopy is closed, you hear a deep rumble, just like in old sports cars.
