RIVIERA FLY – NORWEGIAN-BUILT QUALITY CRUISER OFFERING THE SAME STYLE AND QUALITY AS NIMBUS, BUT AT A FAR MORE ATTRACTIVE PRICE RIVIERA FLY – NORWEGIAN-BUILT QUALITY MOTOR CRUISER IN EXCELLENT AND CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED CONDITION PLEASE NOTE:
This is an opportunity to acquire a newer motor cruiser for the same price as significantly older boats from better-known comparable brands – without compromising on build quality, seaworthiness or comfort.
The Riviera Fly is a solid and well-built Norwegian motor cruiser designed for cruising in demanding Nordic conditions. The yacht combines classic lines, robust construction and excellent seaworthiness with a spacious and inviting interior. Riviera yachts were developed and built in Norway with a strong focus on durable construction, practical solutions and safe cruising. In many respects, the quality is comparable to that of the better-known Scandinavian premium brands, while the price level is considerably more attractive.
The two powerful Volvo Penta diesel engines provide ample power and ensure safe and comfortable cruising. The combination of twin engines and a practical layout also makes the yacht easy to handle and manoeuvre – even in smaller marinas.
The current owner has continuously maintained and upgraded the yacht. Notable investments include new batteries, a new cockpit enclosure and an extensive engine overhaul. Considerable investment has therefore been made in the yacht’s reliability, comfort and overall condition.
The saloon features a large U-shaped sofa with excellent panoramic views. The helm station is positioned forward to starboard and provides a clear view of the yacht, the instruments and the surrounding area. A practical galley is located by the entrance from the cockpit and is equipped with a gas hob, oven, refrigerator and generous cupboard and drawer storage. A short companionway leads from the saloon to the bathroom with shower and two separate cabins. Both cabins feature comfortable double berths, providing excellent accommodation for family and guests.
This particular yacht has demonstrated its capabilities during several years of cruising in Greenland – waters that place considerable demands on construction, reliability and seaworthiness. Charts covering Greenland are included. Overall, this is a spacious, robust and comfortable motor cruiser offering excellent build quality and exceptional value compared with older yachts from better-known Scandinavian shipyards.
The yacht can be viewed in Southern Denmark.
