De Proficiat “Carpe Diem” is een royaal en comfortabel stalen motorjacht van de bekende Friese werf Wicabo. Met haar lengte van 12,30 meter, brede gangboorden en praktische achterkajuitindeling biedt zij veel leefruimte en comfort voor langere verblijven aan boord.
Een belangrijk pluspunt van dit schip is de Ford Mermaid 135 PK dieselmotor die in 2024 volledig is gereviseerd en sindsdien slechts circa 500 draaiuren heeft gemaakt. In combinatie met de boeg- en hekschroef, hydraulische besturing en joystickbediening bij de binnenstuurstand is manoeuvreren eenvoudig en comfortabel.
Het interieur is uitgevoerd in warm mahoniehout en verkeert in nette staat. De indeling omvat een ruime salon, een comfortabele achterkajuit, een gastenhut en in totaal vier slaapplaatsen. Daarnaast beschikt het schip over een separate toiletruimte en aparte doucheruimte, wat het comfort aan boord verhoogt.
Ook aan het onderhoud is de afgelopen periode veel aandacht besteed. Het schip is voorzien van een nieuwe volledig afsluitbare sprayhood (2025), is in 2026 volledig geschilderd en heeft tevens nieuwe antifouling gekregen. Hierdoor presenteert Carpe Diem zich verzorgd en vaarklaar. Verder beschikt zij over een Vetus aggregaat, Eberspächer centrale verwarming, davits, buitendouche en een complete boordinstallatie.

A major advantage of this vessel is the Ford Mermaid 135 HP diesel engine, which was fully overhauled in 2024 and has logged only approximately 500 operating hours since then. Combined with the bow and stern thrusters, hydraulic steering, and joystick control at the interior helm, maneuvering is easy and comfortable.
The interior is finished in warm mahogany and is in good condition. The layout includes a spacious salon, a comfortable aft cabin, a guest cabin, and a total of four berths. Additionally, the vessel features a separate toilet and shower room, which enhances comfort on board.
A great deal of attention has also been paid to maintenance in recent years. The vessel is equipped with a new, fully closable sprayhood (2025), was fully repainted in 2026, and has also received new antifouling. As a result, Carpe Diem presents itself as well-maintained and ready to sail. Furthermore, she is equipped with a Vetus generator, Eberspächer central heating, davits, an outdoor shower, and a complete onboard electrical system.
