1929 Luxemotor 24.75, EUR 280,000
Do you dream of living peacefully, to the rhythm of nature and the cadence of gently rippling water? Or setting out on long voyages along European waterways? This luxury motor houseboat is situated on a beautiful canal, has recently been decorated in a contemporary Scandinavian style and is looking for a passionate owner.
One can also take over the berth.
Originally built in 1929 at a well-known Dutch shipyard, the ship was given a new superstructure in 2020 and two years ago the thorough renovation and furnishing started. It is deliberately designed for comfortable accommodation for two people. We board via the fixed gangway to the wheelhouse. The gangways aft are covered. The canopy gives shelter to the open cockpit and the lights on her eaves immediately create the right romantic atmosphere. Those who wish can look out over the water from the fly.
The interior is tastefully decorated. The wheelhouse has a modern look with vertical bamboo slats and a stylish pilot seat. Every space was utilized, for example there is a shoe drawer in the step. The vessel has a beautiful wooden floor. The black accents give it a contemporary and bold feel.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a tall fridge/freezer, oven and microwave, apothecary cupboard, dishwasher, designer induction hob with central extraction, double sink and plenty of drawers. The worktop is of composite and a hanging bar element provides the right atmosphere. The entrance doors to the salon and steering position have been renewed and have integrated mosquito nets. The windows have stylish horizontal wooden blinds.
The sleeping quarters are located five steps down, at the front of the ship. Here you are surprised by the warm color combinations. A shade of blue was chosen in the lower board of the ship. The walls are white at the top and these windows also have the window decoration with moisture-resistant bamboo slats. To the right of the stairs is the open bathroom with double sink and beautiful gray tiles. The faucet work has a stylish bronze color. There is a large walk-in shower with handheld sprayer and a rain shower. The space under the wheelhouse is furnished with sliding doors and storage cabinets. Here is closet space and room for washer and dryer. Next to the sinks is the toilet. This private space has the same beautiful woodwork and stylish hand basin.
The bed is central to the space, against the end wall with vertical battening. Below the gangway on the starboard side are low sliding door closets with shelves.
This vessel is located on the Bocholt-Herentals Canal. It is a quiet area near a small harbor with restaurants and stores within walking distance. The region is loved by nature lovers, cyclists and hikers. Bocholt is centrally located between Roermond, Eindhoven and Hasselt.
This vessel is a real gem, it is waiting for the occupant who continues her story and is looking for the atmosphere of a contemporary studio or vacation home.
