The Snipa was used as a supply boat in the outer archipelago and the lakes off Stockholm.
The boats had to be able to cope with the rough seas of the archipelago, hence the powerful Peugeot inboard diesel with approx. 40 hp.
The boat was decommissioned in 1984 and lay unused on Lake Vänern for a long time.
The Swedish owner at the time reactivated it in 2008, and in 2009 it was sold to Germany and completely restored from keel to masthead, whereby great importance was attached to maintaining its originality and improvements and embellishments were stylishly incorporated.
In the course of the restoration, the engine was also given a general overhaul and the Peugeot is still running perfectly today.
