De Brandsma “Avalon” is een stoer en elegant gelijnd Nederlands kwaliteitsjacht van de gerenommeerde werf Brandsma Jachten in Sneek. Dit tijdloze motorjacht combineert een klassieke uitstraling met moderne techniek en een hoogwaardige afwerking. De betrouwbare Volvo 130 PK turbodieselmotor heeft slechts circa 2340 draaiuren en zorgt in combinatie met de hydraulische besturing, Vetus boeg- en hekschroef voor comfortabele en nauwkeurige manoeuvreereigenschappen. Het schip is voorzien van een Mastervolt energiesysteem, dubbel glas, Kabola CV met radiatoren en extra Webasto dieselverwarming met extra uitstroomopeningen bij de stuurstand, waardoor het ook uitstekend geschikt is voor langere verblijven of permanente bewoning aan boord.
Het sfeervolle interieur is afgewerkt met een fraai massief teakhouten betimmering en zwaar lijstwerk. De salon biedt veel lichtinval en een comfortabele leefruimte, terwijl de ruime mastercabin met Frans bed en extra gastenhut, compleee kombuis en separate douche- en toiletruimtes zorgen voor een aangenaam verblijf. Met een stahoogte van maar liefst 1,95 meter voelt het schip bovendien verrassend ruim aan.
Ook aan de buitenzijde verkeert Avalon in een zeer verzorgde staat romp is metallic brons gespoten en de vloeren binnen zijn voorzien van onderhoudsvriendelijk HPL-teak met essen bies, de dekken en gangboorden en het zwemplateau zijn met massief teak afgewerkt en de beige tent over het geheel achterdek geeft veel ruimte. Antifouling is in maart 2024 opnieuw aangebracht.

The reliable Volvo 130 PK turbo diesel engine has only approximately 2,340 operating hours and, in combination with the hydraulic steering and Vetus bow and stern thrusters, ensures comfortable and precise maneuverability. The vessel is equipped with a Mastervolt energy system, double-glazed windows, Kabola central heating with radiators, and an additional Webasto diesel heater with extra vents near the helm, making it ideally suited for extended stays or permanent living on board.
The inviting interior is finished with beautiful solid teak paneling and substantial moldings. The salon offers plenty of natural light and a comfortable living space, while the spacious master cabin with a French bed, an additional guest cabin, a fully equipped galley, and separate shower and toilet areas ensure a pleasant stay. With a headroom of no less than 1.95 meters, the boat also feels surprisingly spacious.
On the exterior as well, the Avalon is in excellent condition; the hull is painted metallic bronze, and the interior floors feature low-maintenance HPL teak with ash trim, the decks, gangways, and swimming platform are finished in solid teak, and the beige awning covering the entire aft deck provides plenty of space. Antifouling was reapplied in March 2024.
