2011 GreenCat 445, EUR 322.500,-

African Cats GreenCat 445 Pioneering Sustainable, Fossil-Free Cruising. The African Cats GreenCat 445 represents a new generation of genuinely greener cruising. Designed by renowned naval architect Angelo Lavranos, she combines outstanding sailing performance with innovative, low-impact technology and materials. Her lightweight construction, using basalt fibre, carbon and aramid over a foam core, provides an innovative alternative to conventional composite construction while contributing to an exceptionally efficient and lightweight platform. Twin 10 kW retractable electric drives, substantial lithium battery capacity and a large solar array enable quiet, clean and highly efficient motoring with minimal reliance on fossil fuels. The result is a truly forward-thinking bluewater cruiser: more sustainable materials, renewable onboard energy, electric propulsion and impressive sailing performance, without compromising comfort, capability or range. Beautifully maintained and extensively upgraded, she is ready to explore the world with a significantly lighter environmental footprint.
