History and Construction:

This Trident Warrior 40 was built in 19989 and commissioned in 1990 by Trident Marine to a Bill Dixon design.  The boat has a white GRP hull with a white superstructure and decks with grey non-slip surfaces, with stainless steel stanchions, a stainless-steel pulpit, a fin keel with a skeg rudder and a self-draining cockpit. The Warrior 40 has a Cutter Bermudan Kemp deck-stepped mast and boom with a fractional rig. It has a slab
reefing mainsail and furling headsail. It has an alloy spinnaker pole and manually adjustable backstay. The
age of the stainless steel standing rigging is unknown.  It has a Harken twin furling headsail system for both headsails.  It has a jibe preventer and carbon fibre spinnaker pole fitted.

Mechanical:

This Warrior 40 has a Volvo MD22 4-cylinder 59HP diesel engine located under the aft cockpit sole. Freshwater-cooled via a heat exchanger. Shaft drive to a three-blade feathering Max-Prop. The fuel tank is stainless steel and holds approximately 190 Litres. This yacht will cruise at approximately 7 knots and has a maximum speed of approximately 8.5 knots.  It has a Vetus 7.5 kW bow thruster.

Electrical Systems: This vessel is equipped with 4 x 12V 130Ah batteries and 2 x 108AH (4 x domestic batteries, 1 x engine and 1 x bow thruster. These batteries are all charged by the engine alternator and via a 240V Victron amp battery charger. It has an ADVERC Battery management system and monitor fitted.  This yacht also benefits from 240-volt shore power, with outlets throughout the vessel, along with a 240-volt immersion heater.
