Degerö 28 MS "Lillefred" (1989) A legendary Finnish motorsailer built by Degerö Yachts, designed by Risto Kristeri and Seppo Mäkelä — here in an electric-drive version. Often called "the Mercedes of the water," each boat was hand-built from premium materials and is prized for its build quality, distinctive canoe stern, and raised pilothouse, which provides a bright, spacious interior (refitted in 2022) and the ability to steer from a fully enclosed helm position in any weather.
Long (full) keel — excellent directional stability and open-water safety with a draft of just 1.1 m, allowing access to shallow harbours and marinas. Accommodation: 4 berths in two cabins, galley, and a separate enclosed head. This is a boat built for safe coastal and offshore cruising for 2–4 people. The long keel with heavy ballast (1,000 kg of lead) ensures calm, predictable behaviour in a seaway, and all lines led aft to the cockpit make her easy to sail single-handed. Only around 170 Degerö yachts were ever built — the yard has since closed — making this a rare, eco-friendly premium yacht. Serviced in Germany until 2025. New electrical installation.
Electric propulsion: WaterWorld 10.0i (2022) — a quiet, zero-emission inboard motor on a conventional shaft line. Input power 11 kW (thrust comparable to an approx. 20 hp diesel), 64 Nm of torque available from zero RPM, stepless speed control — outstanding manoeuvrability in harbour. Power supply: 2 original WaterWorld 48V / 6,800 Wh batteries (13.6 kWh total; real-world endurance of 8–10 hours in Beaufort 3–4 conditions). Onboard computer with digital display (battery monitor, engine-hours counter), iOS app. Anodised aluminium construction, saltwater-resistant, air-cooled — minimal maintenance: no oil changes, filters, impellers or belts. Virtually silent operation, no exhaust fumes in the cockpit or cabin. A drivetrain ready for zero-emission zones and quiet marinas.

Vaak "de Mercedes van het water" genoemd, werd elke boot met de hand gebouwd van hoogwaardige materialen en wordt hij gewaardeerd om zijn bouwkwaliteit, de kenmerkende kano-achtige achtersteven en de verhoogde stuurhut, die zorgt voor een licht, ruim interieur (in 2022 gerenoveerd) en de mogelijkheid om onder alle weersomstandigheden vanuit een volledig afgesloten stuurstand te sturen.
Lange (volledige) kiel — uitstekende koersvastheid en veiligheid op open water met een diepgang van slechts 1,1 m, waardoor toegang tot ondiepe havens en jachthavens mogelijk is. Accommodatie: 4 slaapplaatsen in twee hutten, kombuis en een apart, afgesloten toilet. Dit is een boot die is gebouwd voor veilige kust- en offshore-cruises voor 2–4 personen. De lange kiel met zware ballast (1.000 kg lood) zorgt voor rustig, voorspelbaar gedrag op zee, en doordat alle lijnen naar achteren naar de cockpit lopen, is de boot gemakkelijk in je eentje te zeilen. Er zijn slechts ongeveer 170 Degerö-jachten gebouwd — de werf is inmiddels gesloten — waardoor dit een zeldzaam, milieuvriendelijk premiumjacht is. Onderhoudscontract in Duitsland tot 2025. Ingangsvermogen 11 kW (stuwkracht vergelijkbaar met een dieselmotor van ca. 20 hp), 64 Nm koppel beschikbaar vanaf nul toeren, traploze snelheidsregeling — uitstekende wendbaarheid in de haven. Stroomvoorziening: 2 originele WaterWorld 48V / 6.800 Wh accu’s (totaal 13,6 kWh; praktische vaartijd van 8–10 uur bij windkracht 3–4 op de schaal van Beaufort). Boordcomputer met digitaal display (accu-monitor, motorurenteller), iOS-app. Constructie van geanodiseerd aluminium, zoutwaterbestendig, luchtgekoeld — minimaal onderhoud: geen olieverversingen, filters, waaiers of riemen. Vrijwel geruisloze werking, geen uitlaatgassen in de cockpit of kajuit. Een aandrijflijn die geschikt is voor emissievrije zones en rustige jachthavens.
