My Maryland 37 is a sought-after and rare model on the market:

Notably in 2019-2020: reconditioning of the 2 engines by the official Yanmar agent.
In December 2022, for safety reasons:

• the 2 propeller shafts were replaced (one was slightly corroded),
• the 2 hydrolube rings were replaced with new ones,
• the propellers were rebalanced,
• the engine silent-blocks were replaced,

During a sea trial with the mechanic, the maximum speed was recorded at 19 knots, with no overheating and no vibrations.
For reference, the ideal cruising speed is around 10/12 knots.
Antifouling and anode replacement is done every year.

It is perfectly equipped for cruising. Solar panels on the Bimini since 2022.

Mijn Maryland 37 is een gewild en zeldzaam model op de markt:

Opmerkelijk in 2019-2020: revisie van de 2 motoren door de officiële Yanmar-dealer.
In december 2022 zijn uit veiligheidsoverwegingen de volgende onderdelen vervangen:

• de twee schroefassen (één was heel licht gecorrodeerd),
• de twee hydrolube-lagers zijn vervangen door nieuwe,
• de schroeven zijn opnieuw uitgebalanceerd,
• de silentblocks van de twee motoren zijn vervangen,

tijdens een proefvaart met de monteur werd de maximumsnelheid gemeten op 19 knopen, zonder enig teken van oververhitting of trillingen.
Ter herinnering: de ideale kruissnelheid ligt eerder rond de 10/12 knopen.
De antifouling en de vervanging van de anodes worden elk jaar uitgevoerd.

Het schip is perfect uitgerust voor cruisen. Sinds 2022 zijn er zonnepanelen op de bimini geïnstalleerd.
Ik blijf het schip met de grootste zorg onderhouden.
