I am a professional sailor, and I have been navigating this Fairline 50 for over 10 years. Its strengths: a particularly low operating cost compared to similar boats. The TAMD engines are easy to access, very frugal in consumption (30l/h for both engines at 16 knots), and lightly taxed. Another notable point, the habitability is excellent. FAIRLIJN 50

Ik ben een professionele zeiler en vaar al meer dan 10 jaar met deze Fairline 50.
Zijn sterke punten: bijzonder lage gebruikskosten in vergelijking met andere vergelijkbare boten. De TAMD-motoren zijn gemakkelijk toegankelijk, zeer zuinig met brandstof (30l/u voor beide motoren bij 16 knopen) en worden weinig belast.
Een ander opvallend punt is de uitstekende bewoonbaarheid. Bijna de hele breedte van de romp wordt benut en de hutten zijn van goede grootte, om nog maar te zwijgen van de kombuis, met zijn onvergelijkbare afmetingen.
Er is wat cosmetisch werk gepland, zoals de bekleding aan de buitenkant en het schilderen van de kajuitwanden; een kans voor de toekomstige eigenaar om de boot aan te passen aan zijn of haar imago!
