The Bavaria Cruiser 46 (2016) is a spacious and highly capable cruising yacht offering an excellent combination of sailing performance, comfort and practical equipment. A major advantage of this yacht is the substantial mechanical attention carried out during 2025–2026. The engine was completely removed from the boat and professionally inspected and tested on a workshop test bench, with the necessary repairs, adjustments, cleaning and replacement of components completed.
The saildrive and gearbox were also diagnosed and serviced, the saildrive rubber seal was replaced, and a new propeller was installed. The bow thruster motor was removed and professionally rebuilt, including rewinding and replacement of components, while the windlass was serviced and the engine-room ventilation motor replaced.

The yacht has also benefited from hull polishing, professional teak treatment and the installation of a new gangway.

Her sailing and navigation equipment is equally well specified, with a furling mainsail and genoa renewed in 2022, together with a new sprayhood and bimini.
The Garmin navigation package includes a cockpit GPS plotter, wind instruments, autopilot and a VHF installed in 2023.

For cruising away from the marina, the yacht offers a high degree of autonomy with a Fischer Panda generator, 2 × 120 W solar panels, inverter, heating and hot-water system.

The starter and service batteries are in their second season and currently in satisfactory condition, while the bow-thruster battery is new.
