Twin screw, ketch-rigged ocean cruising yacht from Camper & Nicholsons. Continually upgraded and refitted. Beautifully presented and ideal for private or charter adventures.

FURTHER BROKER'S COMMENTS:

SPIRIT OF SANGOMA was constructed to designs by Raymond Wall and launched by Camper & Nicholsons in 1977 as hull No.8 of a semi-custom series of ocean cruising ketches and the largest of the production yachts built by the legendary UK shipyard.

Following her construction, her original owner sailed her to the Seychelles and then later to the Caribbean where she benefitted from an extensive refit in 1999 with her twin engines later replaced in 2004.

Her current owner purchased the boat in 2012 and immediately sent her for refit at the Nautor Swan service centre in Scarlino, Italy where her systems and interiors were restored and upgraded. SPIRIT OF SANGOMA has since been based in the Mediterranean, enjoying cruising grounds such as Greece, the Balearic Islands, the Cote d'Azur and Sardinia.

As with all Camper & Nicholsons yachts, SPIRIT OF SANGOMA is built with seaworthiness and solidity of construction as priority. Her solid GRP hull construction, balanced ketch rig and powerful twin engines ensure her ability to withstand the worst sea conditions and provide safety and comfort in all weathers. Below decks, she benefits from a luxurious interior layout boasting three twin VIP guest cabins, master double cabin aft and twin crew cabin the forepeak with a large raised saloon in between affording excellent outward visibility.

Her specification highlights include:-

Crew quarter aft with dedicated access

Recently replaced standing rigging - 2023
