Viknes

In the late 1980s, Viknes entered the market with the Viknes 770. A quirky and seaworthy ship as we can expect from a quality Norwegian shipyard. It was the beginning of a long series of successful models. The Viknes ships are particularly lined and exceptionally strongly built so that sailing on the open sea is no problem at all. After a stable period of growth, the yard was startled by a major fire in the year 2000. A year later, a new production hall stood and Viknes started a new model range. In 2012, the Viknes 930 became "Powerboat of the year."

Today, Viknes is one of Norway's largest yacht builders. All Viknes boats are approved by the Norwegian certification body "Norske Veritas" under CE design category B. Viknes not only builds the famous Viknes models but also produces since years the beautiful models of Skilsø. A brand they took over years ago and revived. The VIKNES 8 is the latest addition to the Viknes line of successful models. This new model is aimed at fishermen and those who pretend a large spacious cockpit. This 2 person boat par excellence is suitable for all types of weather due to the quality construction that comes with Norwegian boat builders. Quality oozes from the exterior as well as the interior of the models they produce at the Viknes yard. The Viknes 8 is the smallest model and with its powerful Yanmar 250hp engine is a spirited boat with power and stamina. The normal version has enough luxury that one expects from a boat like this. Of course there are many options to choose from to make this polyester powerhouse completely your own!
