Chris Craft made only 85 of these full mahongany beauties during 1966-68. This one was sold originally to Finland and might be the only one maybe in entire Europe. The cost for the new boat was like three new 3 bedroom flats in capital area. While searching from internet and Facebook I have seen only one in boating condition and another project in US.
The boat has been renovated once in the 90's and keeping in good condition since that as it still is. The bottom has been fiber glassed to the water surface level in the 80's. Few years ago fiber glass was sand blasted and repainted. The entire wooden hull and parts were also inspected by the professional wooden boat builders. The result was good and fiber glass so well tightened that there was no sence to remove the fiber glass. As they described it would be a huge job for very minor benefit (only to get less weight).
The boat is in very good usage condition. The cover was replaced few years ago and wooden parts and shiny. Outdecks and open area are teak covered which is not original, but otherwise the boat is very original. The boats hull over the sea surface is painted in white already from the factory. Cockpit and cabin roofs are white vily over the epoxy. Boat has also a trailer and 12x4,5 soft hall for winter storage. The boat is located in Espoo, Finnish capital area.
