Full bluewater specification Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 43 with just two private owners since new. Three cabin, two heads layout with raised pilot saloon arrangement.

FURTHER BROKER?S COMMENTS:

With 48 hulls build between 1999 and 2004, GIAMPI is one of the very last to be built. Hand laminated with an extremely strong Kevlar-reinforced hull, these raised pilot saloon designs have become immensely popular amongst the bluewater fraternity, attracted by the versatile interior layout, safe cockpit arrangement, and sloop-cutter rig configuration.

GIAMPI has had just two private owners since new and was fitted out for serious bluewater sailing ahead of the 2016/17 World ARC. Following her return, she has received further upgrades and refit, making her ready for her next adventures. Her 2020 Spanish ITB inspection has also just been completed.

Her specification highlights include:-
Raised pilot saloon profile
Three cabin, two heads interior layout
Yanmar 75hp diesel engine with Gori 3-bladed propeller
Bowthruster
Fischer Panda 4.5kva generator
Solar panels
Katadyn 12vDC watermaker
220vAC reverse cycle air conditioning/heating
Raymarine instruments with twin chart/plotter radar displays
AIS transponder
SSB radio
Iridium satellite phone system
Inmast furling mainsail system
Andersen electric primary and control line winches
Sloop-cutter arrangement with tandem furling forestays and self-tacking track for staysail
Gennaker
Davits with tender and outboard
Sprayhood, bimini and cockpit tent enclosures
Newly replaced standing rigging
Newly replaced seacocks

GIAMPI is now offered for immediate sale in Barcelona, with Spanish Registration and Spanish VAT paid.

MANUFACTURER?S COMMENTS:

The Wauquiez 43 Pilot Saloon inherits from all of the valuable experience collected with her bigger sisters, the 60, 54 and 48 footers. The Wauquiez shipyard masterly condensed in 43 feet all the essence of the unique Pilot Saloon concept:- Breathtaking elegance and high performance ? Spectacular panoramic vision from the raised saloon and inside navigation station ? Concentration of all technical components in an easily accessible machinery room ? Bright and air galley, located under the panoramic windshield ? Ample and very comfortable cabins with spacious heads ? Outstanding quality of construction and magnificent interior joinery. Performance of this Dubois designed yacht is up to the reputation of both architect and the shipyard: High speed, easy motion even in rough conditions, powerful rig perfectly in control of a shorthanded crew.
