Ottiliana is traditional Finlands western coast clinker built boat. It has inherited its form from Colin Archers and Laurin Kosters. Ottiliana is capable and safe seagoing vessel. Built from Northern Finlands high density pine. Mahogany deckhouse and interior. Teak deck and cockpit. Masts, bowsprit and spars siberian larch. Keel ballast lead, wood keel, deadwood, rudder and stem iroco. All metal parts bronze or 316 SS. Total length with bowsprit 12.60m. Cutter rig. High quality newish North sails. Efficent Safire forced air diesel heater. New Darglow feathering 3-blade prop. Water boiler 240 V and engine heated.
Very practical galley with Eno gas stove and owen. Big energy efficient fridge and double sink. All electricity Victron. High quality FIAMM batteries. Teak decks caulked 2023 with Sika 290 DC+primer. Extremely comfortable Pilothouse with secondary steering place with heavy duty Capillano hydraulic steering pump. Engine in top condition only 1350h does not drip or make smoke. Boat has always been inside in a temperature and humidity controlled boat shed during winters. The boat has been first and only owners pride and joy and it is in better condition than when it was new. There has been done several improvements. The hull was originally impregnated with 160 L of Linen oil which is the ultimate impregnation oil for pine.
