Her name is Ocean Darling, a Classic Swedish Beauty looking for a Gentleman or a Gentle Lady to challenge her and take her away. She can also be delivered to the harbour of your choice.

Over the years, Ocean Darling has been completely restored and refitted and is equipped with a NEW ENGINE: Volvo Penta D1-30 with nowadays only 90 running hours.

The restoration has taken her to another level of comfort. She can now serve as a luxurious pied-à-terre in an international city marina, as well as what she is meant to be: an ultra reliable ocean cruiser. She was made for the oceans and she could be a Digital Nomad's most trusted compagnon!

The designer of the Laurin Koster is one of Sweden's most wellknown boat constructors: Arvid Laurin. His famous racing boats were first built in mahogany. He based his long-keel hull design on the classical wooden fishing boats from the Swedish Koster Islands. These boats were relatively broad and round, but had at the same time a deep and sharp underwater body, which made them very seaworthy and well sailing.

In the beginning of the Sixties, Malmo Aircraft Industries (MAI) decided to step into the emerging market for glass fibre sailing yachts. The aircraft engineers were sailing enthousiasts themselves. As their model, they chose the Arvid Laurin Casella II, which had participated in the Transatlantic Race from Bermuda to Gothenburg in 1960, arranged to celebrate the centenary of the foundation of Gothenburg's Royal Yacht Club.

Arvid Laurin redesigned the Casella II to be constructed in glass fibre. MAI built the first series using innovative aircraft techniques. As a result the boats came up tremendously well-built, strong and fast. This Laurin 32 is build by MAI to Lloyd's specifications both Ocean-Class and Ice-Class.
