Swedish build yacht from 1986 (it’s one of the latest vindö 32 build) with beautifull lines, good sailing performance and sturdy construction. Owner did not spare any expenses when he had her renovated (2014-2018) and modernized and only the best materials are used.
Newly build coach roof (3 layers of Bruynzeel ‘supra-hechthout’ and strengthened with carbonfiber), new teak mastfoot and new hatch on the coachroof (2015).
The new construction is lighter and much stronger than the original coach roof, all the wood was sanded to bare wood and painted with a layer of epoxy clear coating and finished with 10 layers of varnish (Epifanes).
Construction is of G.R.P. Hull, mahogany sides to the coach roof which has a white surface and hardened glas windows (new 2015). She has a long keel, encapsulated lead ballast with a keel hung rudder. Tiller steering, stainless steel lifelines new (2015), teak hand and cap rails, S/S pushpit and pulpit, 6 new cleats, with a teak deck and teak seats in the self draining cockpit.
The engine is a 2-cilinder Volvo 18hp MD2002 and is located under the cockpitfloor / companionway. There is a shaft drive to a 3 bladed variable pitch propeller (new Variprop 2016). Engine controls (new cables 2016) in the cockpit and a fuel capacity of 50 litres.
She has a cruising speed of about 5.5-6.0 knots with a fuel consumption of about 1.5 litres per hour. The engine has been regularly maintained, new alternator (2019) and is in good condition.
There are three 12v batteries in two banks (start and domestic all from 2014). Separate charging of engine start, and domestic system with a new Mastervolt charger and a new BlueSea battery panel (new 2015).
She has a sloop rig with aluminium mast and boom (Selden), a spinnaker pole,
S/S standing rigging, a full battened main sail with Harken sliders (new 2015) on the mast and slab reefing. There are 2 Andersen 28ST two speed selftailing winches for the genoa (in the cockpit) and two Anderson 16 halyard winches (on the mast). All new running rigging (dyneema) and sheets, new forstay and many new Harken blocks (all in 2015).
Her sails are a fully battened mainsail (North) with lazy jacks, a 150% furling Genoa (North), a 110% furling Jib (Hood) and a spinnaker (North). All sails are in good condition.
New electronics, B&G sailing instruments (hydra/hercules 2000 system), B&G log and depth (analog instruments), GPS/chartplotter, VHF, etc.
New Blue Sea switch panels and nearly all the wiring is replaced (2015).
The interior is of nice warm mahogany and in good condition, all the foam of the berths and seats are new (2015), cooking is on an Origo 3000 two-burner stove, there’s a new 50 liters Waeco fridge (2014). The Jabsco toilet is new (2015), with a faecaliëntank with a new electric wastepump (2019). Nearly all the interior lights are new (2015).
All the canvas is in good condition: sprayhood, cockpittent, genoacover, mainsailcover (new 2015), white suncover (new 2017). The boat is sold with anchor gear, ropes, fenders, lifelines and lifeboy, etc.
She is one of the latest build Vindö 32 yachts and has been in her present ownership (second owner only) since 2012. The Vindö yacht is a very strong and well balanced small ship, and a very high quality of craftsmanship has gone into her construction. She is in excellent condition.
