The Boesch 680 Costa Brava De Luxe Cabrio was completely restored from 2012 to 2014, the base was rock solid because there was no waterbed.
The paintwork of the surface ship and the underwater ship were completely rebuilt true to the original according to shipyard specifications. The color "Boesch Kastanienrot" is the original color of the first delivery.
All upholstery and leatherette covers have been completely renewed. The Schupf cabin was completely redesigned. The convertible top was renewed and the boat has a new full cover and a partial cover for trailers.
The cockpit floor and all cockpit linings that are not in mahogany were made of teak. All chrome parts have been revised and completely chrome-plated.
The instrument panel was made of wood and all instruments including the wiring harness were renewed. All other technical components have been renewed and brought up to date.
Finally, a new Crusader V8 5.7 l Classic engine with dual-circuit cooling and Hurth reversing gear was installed. After the restoration, only 70 operating hours came together
All work was carried out in specialist companies.
Since then, the boat has only been used 4 x 3 weeks on vacation and was always in the dry storage outside of this time.
