The Goose is an Wauquiez Amphitrite 43 built by the French shipyard Henri Wauquiez and designed by the English naval architects Holman & Pye. The Amphitrite 43’s are elegant designed ketchs, they are very stiff and robust yachts with a great seaworthiness. This ocean going ketch has a spacious and comfortable interiour and cockpit with a high standard of finish. This makes the boat very suitable for a long stay aboard during a big journey or to live aboard in preparation for a journey. The boat can be comfortably operated by a small crew and has good sailing-capacities for a yacht of its type and the 2nd forstay installed on the Goose makes it more comfortable and safe to sail. The Goose was built in the year 1982 being the number 93 of a series of 138 yachts and is well maintained and in a good condition. Henri Wauquiez's slogan was „Pour ceux qui naviguent“ (for them who sail) and it was not just a slogan, of the 138 Amphitrites built almost all continue to sail.
